The Global Collage project aims to empower world-wide artists and audiences. We strongly believe that every person possesses the talent to create art as well as the need to experience it in daily life. Unfortunately, most of us don't have access to a gallery or museum to exhibit our work, nor do we enjoy it in our daily routine. The Global Collage creates a forum in which ordinary people can express their extraordinary talent. As audience members, we have the unique opportunity to experience this worldwide collage of ideas, thoughts, interpretations, and inspirations.

A major project goal is to take the Collage beyond the Internet; to bring art to public spaces so that it becomes integrated into our daily experience. In October 1998, we achieved this goal by projecting the collage every night for two months on a San Francisco street. See Photos! We're currently trying to get the Collage permanently installed in a public transportation hub in San Francisco.

The project began in 1996 during the inchoate years of the internet boom. Since that time, the Collage has continued to grow as new submissions arrive every week. If you've got some art, please submit! If you're just here to enjoy, then enjoy! If you got some money or resources that you'd like to donate to the Collage, please email:
